ACTRESS / DIRECTOR RELEASES TWISTED VAMPIRE TALE by Nick Christophers
Tina Jetter is at it again with a gripping tale that is due to take a bite out the industry. In her new project she is not only acting but directing the film “Saving You, Saving Me”. The new project is also co-directed by Marc I. Daniels. The story follows a young lady who is down on her luck but soon discovers that she is the missing link to the survival of a secret vampire society.
Tina has been in the acting field for over ten years taking on projects as they come. As alumni of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) she has proven to be a talented artist. She has been in many shorts and TV shows over the years. Since her debut in 2004 in the short “Destiny” Tina has climbed up the acting and directing ladder. In 2013 she nailed the part Kendyle in the “Spirit Hunters-The Series “(TV Mini-Series short) and not long after that another key role in 2016 in “J.M. Nells” (TV Series).
She forged on with six other shorts and another a TV show. Tina is a multi-talented artist who is now placing more energy on directing. She has made it clear that she loves working in front of the camera as well as behind it. 2017 has been a busy year for her so far with three projects in post-production and one in pre-production and one completed where she plays the historic character of Harriet Tubman.
The new project “Saving You, Saving Me” is Tina’s debut directional feature film. She is more than excited to release it and see how it does on the circuit. She is in talks with select distributors to take it to the next level. Tina has close to twenty scripts on the back-burner that are just waiting to see the light of day. Besides “Saving You, Saving Me” she has a short film entitled “It’s Time…” which she will be having a screening for along with some other shorts. She will also have a screening for a feature film that she helped co-write with Sandra N. Farrell. It’s entitled “A Husband’s Lethal Intentions”.
“Saving You, Saving Me came about actually three and half years ago. I fell in love with the movie “Twilight” and wanted to write something based off of the movie. Of course, it’s completely different from the movie and not only because they don’t sparkle in the sun, but for other reasons as well. I wanted to be sure I made it my own, I just knew what the next scene was going to be and by the time I was done, I realized I had written my very first movie! It was a great feeling and I knew I wanted to film it. It took a while but thanks to my wonderful mother and a couple of supporters the project is finally done and I couldn’t be more thankful and grateful especially to God for everything.”
Tina has also won a few awards like “Best Actress” in Wendy’s Shorts for the film “Bad Judgments” and at the “The 2015 Indie Gathering” festival “Saving You, Saving Me” won 3rd place in the Feature Fantasy script section. Tina is young with a lot of energy and ambition to go beyond what she has accomplished so far. Be on the look-out for her directorial debut in “Saving You, Saving Me” perfect for the upcoming Halloween season.
